At last, we have arrived in the great town of Wien, or otherwise better known as Vienna, the capital of Austria!

We arrived at our hotel around 8.30PM and organised to meet up with our dear Finnish friend, Jenni shortly after for dinner in the main city square. You could have probably guessed that we were STARVING by now! (For those that know me well, I am starving within every 3 hours…. I blame my metabolism!)

  

We walked around for a while but couldn’t find anything decent and not overpriced, so eventually Jenni took us to Chattanooga where we had a great-tasting schnitzel with potato salad each, and of course, dessert! We shared an apple strudel with ice cream and cream (see above).

Very happily satisfied with my meal, we departed to meet again in daylight. And for now, I leave you all with my first few moments of the city of Vienna, amidst the city night lights…
